Jesuit’s golf team overcame (or ignored) a stiff crosswind on several holes Monday at Lakewood Golf Club to card a 152-160 win over the Newman Greenies.

Senior co-captain Grant Glorioso and his brother, sophomore Grayson Glorioso, led Blue Jay golfers with scores of 36 and 38, respectively. Jesuit’s other senior co-captain, Carlo Carino, and freshman Britton Khalaf, each shot a 39 in the nine-hole competition. The Jays’ four top scores totaled 152 and was eight strokes better than what the Greenies carded.

The Jays head back to Lakewood Tuesday afternoon, March 15, to take on John Curtis in a district dual match. It will be the first time the Jays and the Patriots meet on the links.
