Quiz Bowl Team Takes 2nd in ESA Cade Cane Classic Tournament

Jesuit’s two varsity quiz bowl teams faced off in a Blue and White semi-finals at the ESA Cade Cane Classic Tournament on Saturday, Jan. 30 at Episcopal School of Acadiana in Broussard, La. Team B emerged victorious, but then lost in the finals against Baton Rouge Magnet thereby taking second place.

Team A was composed of seniors Anthony Stoner (captain), Andrew Cerise, and D.J. Ogbomah, and juniors Keegan Rooney and Preston Warwich. Team B was composed of sophomores Robert Cerise (captain), Manuel Molina, Eddie Redmann and Caleb Rogers, and freshman Andrew Souther. Both teams went undefeated until they met each other in the semi-finals.

Stoner was honored with the second highest individual point score and Rogers won third highest.
