Junior Hunt Navar scored three goals in an eight-minute span of the first half to lead Jesuit’s soccer team to a 5-0 district win over L.W. Higgins on Saturday, Jan. 16 at Hoss Memtsas Stadium.

Junior Evan Hatrel opened the scoring for the Jays just minutes into the game courtesy of an assist from senior Reed Detillier. Junior Blake Parenton pushed the lead to 2-0 soon thereafter on an unassisted goal.

Navar then went on his tear, scoring his first goal off an assist from junior Colin Parenton and following that up with two unassisted efforts.

Jesuit improves to 18-3-1 with the win. The Jays return to action on Tuesday, Jan. 19 for a contest with Bonnabel. Match time is 7:00 p.m. at Joe Yenni Stadium.
