MCJROTC Finishes Third In Ponchatoula Drill Meet

Jesuit’s MCJROTC took third place at the 20th Annual Ponchatoula High School Drill Meet on Saturday, Oct. 10.

On Saturday, Oct. 10, the Jesuit MCJROTC competed in the 20th Annual Ponchatoula High School Drill Meet against 22 schools from Louisiana, Mississippi, and Texas.  The second team Color Guard, led by sophomore Giovanni Lorusso, placed second in the Color Guard competition.  The Armed Drill Team, led by senior Austin Blanchard, placed second in Armed Inspection, Regulation Drill, and Exhibition Drill.  Combined with excellent showings by the Unarmed Drill Team, led by junior Travis Kieff, and the Physical Fitness Team, led by sophomore D’Ante Conic, Jesuit placed third overall in the meet.
