Five Blue Jays are members of the 2015 nationally-ranked LSU football program. Deion “Debo” Jones ’12 (45) and Grant Leger ’11 (53) are seniors. Bennett Schiro ’13 (31) is a sophomore. Trey LaForge (2) and Foster Moreau (84) from the Class of 2015, who teamed up to help Jesuit win its first football state championship since 1960 last year, are freshmen.

Schiro is a reserve fullback who is majoring in finance. Leger is a reserve linebacker who earned SEC Academic Honor Roll status in 2012, 2013, and 2014. He was a member of LSU’s SEC Championship team in 2011. Schiro and Leger are majoring in finance.

Jones, who is studying sports administration, is a starting linebacker who has been a major contributor on special teams since he arrived as a highly-touted recruit. After four games, Jones leads the team in tackles with 29 and is tied for the team lead in interceptions with two, including one that he returned for a touchdown against Eastern Michigan on Saturday, Oct. 3.

Moreau is making an early impact. The 6’5″ 261-pound tight end is usually on the field when the Tigers get into the red zone. LaForge is a reserve quarterback.
