Jesuit Presents Its 2015 – 2016 Homecoming Court

The Student Council proudly presented the 2015-2016 Homecoming Court at the Sept. 25 game against St. Augustine. The Court was formally greeted by Jesuit’s Jayettes, the MCJROTC’s Color Guard, and accompanied by music from the Blue Jay Marching Band.

This year’s freshmen/sophomore couple is Mr. Sean Seghers and Ms. Morgan Teresi. Sean, a sophomore, is a member of the Jesuit baseball team. In college, he plans to study chemical engineering. Morgan is a freshman at De La Salle High School where she is a cheerleader and a member of the Latin Club and Shakespeare Club. Morgan hopes to become a biomedical engineer.

The junior couple is Mr. Colton Bell and Ms. Amanda Bonck. Colton is a member of the cross country team, the Blue Jay Band, and the Role Playing Games Club. His career goal is to become a therapist. Amanda is a junior at Grace King and aspires to become a historical journalist.

The senior maid elected as Queen by Jesuit's Class of 2016 is Amelia Haydel, who is escorted by Will Hurley. Fr. Anthony McGinn, S.J., president of Jesuit High School, helps adjust the Queen's crown.

This year’s first senior couple is Mr. Mark Beebe and Ms. Lauren LaForge, who is escorted by Mark’s brother, junior Chris Beebe. Mark is a member of the football, basketball, and baseball teams. He also participates in the Peer Support Program, National Honor Society, Spanish Honor Society, and Mu Alpha Theta. He plans to go into Sports Medicine. Lauren attends Mount Carmel Academy where she is on the cross country team and a member of the National Honor Society, Mu Alpha Theta, and Christian Life Community. She is also a Eucharistic Minister and secretary of Campus Ministry. Lauren hopes to major in engineering in college.

The second senior couple is Mr. William Breaux and Ms. Madison Sublette. William is on Jesuit’s lacrosse team and a member of Campus Ministry, Pro-Life Club, and the Sailing Club. He plans to become an orthodontist. Madison is a senior at Louise McGehee where she is on the softball, soccer, and cross country teams, and a member of the National Art Honor Society and the Sailing Club. Madison plans to become an orthopedist and specialize in sports medicine.

The third senior couple is Mr. Will Hurley and Ms. Amelia Haydel. Will is treasurer of the Student Council and a member of the lacrosse team, Ultimate Frisbee Club, National Honor Society, and Spanish Honor Society. He is also involved in Jesuit’s intramural program. Will wants to study business management and accounting in college before eventually becoming a lawyer. Amelia is a senior at St. Mary’s Dominican High School, where she is on the track team and a member of the National Honor Society, Mu Alpha Theta, and the Pro-Life Club. Amelia hopes to attend Auburn University and major in Biology. She would like to become a pediatric surgeon.

This year’s fourth senior couple is Mr. John Nimmo and Ms. Kirsten Cavaliere. John is the senior class president and a member of the cross country team, the National Honor Society, Spanish Honor Society, and the Sodality. He hopes to attend New York University and study finance. Kirsten is the senior class president at Cabrini High School, where she is manager of the cross country team and a member of Campus Ministry, the Renaissance Club, and the Photography Club. Kirsten plans to study photography in college.

This year’s fifth senior couple is Mr. Tyrus Norcise and Ms. Riley Reynolds. Tyrus is a cheerleader and a member of Peer Support. He hopes to attend ULL and study nursing. Riley is a senior at Mount Carmel, where she is the senior class mascot. She is also a captain of Jesuit’s cheerleading team. Riley hopes to attend LSU and major in mass communication and journalism, while cheering for the Tigers.

This year’s sixth and final senior couple is Mr. Brandon Wolff and Ms. Sydney White. Escorting Ms. White is Joseph Dupré. Brandon is on the wrestling team and is a member of the National Honor Society, Mu Alpha Theta, and Campus Ministry. He plans to pursue a career in medicine. Sydney, a senior at Archbishop Chapelle, is a member of the National Honor Society, Pro-Life Club, and is involved in the school’s service program. Sydney plans to attend LSU and hopes to become a pediatrician.
