Parents of new students are attending “Breakfast with the President” this week, an informal event introducing them to Jesuit president Fr. Anthony McGinn, S.J. ’66,  and a few others who offer advice about how to make the most of their experience at Jesuit.

The three breakfasts were held Tuesday through Thursday, Aug. 25-27, in St. Ignatius Hall, located on the third floor of the administration wing.

Fr. McGinn welcomed parents and thanked them for choosing Jesuit, while encouraging them to get involved. “Your sons will be challenged, but together we will offer them the support they need to be successful,” he said. “Through that challenge, support, and success develops a strong camaraderie that will help them assist them in their daily lives beyond their time

Parents also heard from Parents’ Annual Giving Drive chairman Philip Nimmo, pre-freshmen counselor Andrew Schiro, freshmen counselor Don Songy ’07, and Jesuit’s creative director Meghan Weaver, who offered tips to parents about using the school website.
