Members of the Class of 1958, led by Br. Billy Dardis, S.J., Joe Gendusa, and Lionel Carey, met for lunch at Smilie’s on Jefferson Highway on Friday, May 8.

Twenty-five members of the Class of 1958 gathered at Smilie’s on Jefferson Highway to hear about Jesuit today and to reminisce about their time at Carrollton & Banks.

The event was coordinated by Joe Gendusa and Br. Billy Dardis, S.J. who thanked his classmates for remaining connected to each other and to Jesuit. Br. Dardis is Jesuit’s director of special projects. He is in his 52nd year at the school.

The delicious meal included a crab soup, salad, a choice of entrées, and mouth-watering bread pudding with rum sauce.

Jesuit president Fr. Anthony McGinn, S.J. ’66 dropped by to say hello and offer his appreciation.

The class hopes to get back together in August or September.
