Four Blue Jays were recently named to the LHSAA Class 5A All-Academic Scholar Composite Track & Field Team. Seniors James Laborde, Patrick LaCour, Michael McMahon, and Raymond Nash were all recognized by the LHSAA / Exxon Mobil All-Academic Award Program presented by ISC.

The program recognizes the academic excellence of senior student-athletes who have attained a 3.5 grade point average or higher. To earn Composite Team honors, a student-athlete’s six-semester GPA must be one of the 18 highest in all seven LHSAA classifications. The composite team is usually comprised of all 4.0 GPA students. The students are honored at the Track & Field State Championship Meet and also receive a certificate from the school.
