Bowling Edges a 15-12 Win Over Holy Rosary

Jesuit pulled a close 15-12 victory over Holy Rosary in a high-scoring rematch on Thursday, March 5 at AMF All Star Lanes in Kenner. The win was decided by a narrow margin of only seven pins (3464-3457) in the total team count.

Senior Ben Ainsworth bowled a 727 series against Holy Rosary’s best player with high games of 278, 211 and 238. Senior Chris Ainsworth was not far behind with a 660 series consisting of a 234 and a 235. Junior Peyton Hidalgo also had a great match with a 621 series consisting of a 214 and a 212. 

This match was much more competitive than the first meeting on Jan. 26 in which Jesuit defeated Holy Rosary 20-7.

The Blue Jays will next face Holy Cross on Monday, March 9.
