2015-2016 Jesuit High School Cheerleading Tryouts Set for March 21

As tour guides led their guests through the gym (aka: the Birdcage), the Blue Jay basketball team had a full court scrimmage taking place while the Jesuit cheerleaders refined their techniques. Senior Niko Ros is prepared to catch his "flyer," Rebekah Besselman, a senior at St. Mary's Dominican High School.

Try-outs for next year’s Cheerleading Team are on Saturday, March 21, 2015. To be on the Jesuit High School Cheerleading Team, you must try out!

Registration begins at 8:30 a.m. For tryouts, you will learn a cheer, a chant, and a small dance routine. Teaching takes place in the morning with judging in the afternoon. Try-outs are open to young ladies currently in 8th-11th grade, and are going to be attending one of the all-girl catholic high schools.

Attire

Please wear shirt and shorts with all your hair pulled back and out of your face along with tennis shoes.

Registration – 8:30 a.m.
Class – 9 a.m.-noon
Lunch – noon-1 p.m. (Bring your own lunch.)
Judging – 1-4 p.m.
