Wrestling Takes Second Place at City Championship

A team score of 251.5, 17 pins, and five individual championships combined to help the wrestling team take second place at the 2015 City Championships on Saturday, Jan. 24. The Blue Jays finished behind the state’s No. 2 ranked team and host of the tournament, Holy Cross.

Winning their weight classes were junior Joseph Dupré (120), senior Jake Rovira (138), junior Griffin Mason (145), senior Dylan Daboval (182) and junior Guy Patron, Jr. (195).

The wrestling team returns to action on Wednesday, Jan. 28 at a dual meet at Archbishop Rummel High School. The meet begins at 6:30 p.m.
