Dave Schof ’56  was a four-year band letterman at Jesuit, but put down his saxophone while he was in grad school. Many years later, eight of his grandchildren (who all play in bands at Jesuit and Dominican) brought music back to his life and, ultimately, to create his dream group – Paw Paw’s Band – in which he plays alongside his grandkids.

The family musical lineup is Jesuit sophomore Douglas Schof on clarinet; Dominican sophomore Scarlett Abrams on clarinet; Jesuit senior Jared Abrams on tenor sax; Dominican sophomore Kristina Krizan on clarinet; Dominican senior and drum major Kristin Schof on flute; Jesuit junior Kenneth Krizan on alto sax; Dominican sophomore Bridget Adam on alto sax; and Jesuit pre-freshman Dominic Schof on drums.
