Mass Day Order, Day 5

 

  • “The Gizzard” student section t-shirts will be available for purchase all this week during lunch. Cost is $10 for a pair of blue and white shirts.
  • The Urban Farming club will meet today during the first half of lunch in the garden to finish planting plants.
  • The Social Justice Forum and J-CAP will meet today during the first half of lunch in Room 311.
  • There will be an informational meeting for Juniors and Seniors in Spanish III Honors or above interested in participating in the exchange program with the Colegio San Ignacio, Puerto Rico, today during the first half of lunch in Room 324.
  • The Ultimate Frisbee team will meet today during the first half of lunch in Room 407.
  • The Investment Club will meet today during the second half of lunch in Room 227.
  • The Senior Sodality will meet today during the second half of lunch in Room 306.
  • The Media Club’s Web writing team will meet today during the second half of lunch in Room 213 to discuss how to write and submit articles to the website. New members are welcome.
  • The Green Club will meet today during the second half of lunch in Room 311.
  • The Magic Club will meet today during the second half of lunch in Room 323.
  • Sophomore Banner Night will take place today immediately after school in the Commons.
  • The Media Club’s graphic design team will meet with the Debate Team today after school in Room 116.
  • The swimming team will compete in the District 9-5A championship meet this afternoon starting at 4:00 at UNO. Student and faculty IDs will be accepted at the gate for admission. Admission price for adults is $5 each and $2 each for children (ages 6-11).
  • The golf team will face Newman this afternoon starting at 4:00 at Lakewood.
  • The 8th grade football team will host Rummel this afternoon starting at 4:30 on the Will Clark Field.
  • Jesuit’s new Culinary Club is looking for new members and will meet tomorrow during the second half of lunch in Room 119.
  • The Odd Instruments Orchestra will meet tomorrow during the second half of lunch in Room 306.
  • The Pro-Life Club will meet tomorrow during the second half of lunch in Room 329.
  • Pre-freshmen can turn their gym night forms and money to Mr. Orillion in Room 114. Forms can be slipped under the door and are due tomorrow. Forms can also be turned into Mr. Schiro in the guidance office.
  • The varsity football team will face Rummel on Saturday night with kickoff set for 7:00 at Joe Yenni Stadium. Pre-sale ticket prices are $6 each for adults and students and $3 each for children (ages 6-11). Tickets will be on sale at the switchboard this week from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. and in the student commons on Friday during lunch. All tickets purchased at the gate are $8 each.
  • Flu shots/Mist will be available in The Student Commons on Tuesday, October 28th from 7:15 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Please check website for complete details regarding necessary documentation.
  • Come join the Paintball club’s next outing Thursday November 6th. Sign up forms are available outside the ROTC office. Please see Master Gunnery Sergeant Piseno for any questions.
  • Registration is open today for Jesuit’s Spring ACT Prep Course. Consult the Jesuit website or see Mr. Villarrubia for details.
  • Seniors: Boston College will be conducting interviews on campus on Wednesday, October 29th. There is limited availability for these interviews, so please sign up in the Guidance Office by the end of the day on Friday.
  • Admission representatives from Rice University and Hendrix College will be available during lunch today in Rooms 120 and 121.
