Mr. Elliotte Harold, Jr. ’56 and his wife, Elizabeth, recently presented an “extraordinary gift” to Fr. Raymond Fitzgerald, S.J., president of Jesuit High School. A $60,000 life insurance policy purchased by the Harolds names Jesuit High School as the beneficiary. “Generous gifts such as yours allow Jesuit to continue its mission of developing in its students the competence, conscience, and compassion that will enable them to become men of faith and men for others,” said Fr. Fitzgerald. According to Mr. Jim Ryder ’62, who advises Jesuit in the area of extraordinary (planned) giving, these gifts are of great benefit to the beneficiary  and the benefactor. The Harolds told Fr. Fitzgerald that they are pleased to support Jesuit , which provided a solid education and foundation for their three sons — Rusty ’84, Ed ’85, and Tommy ’93.
