Jesuit_Stadium1_040711_550Construction workers were busy this week at the site of John Ryan Stadium, Jesuit’s athletic stadium facility and field currently under construction on seven acres in LaBarre Business Park, located just over the Jefferson-Orleans line, and five minutes from the school. Lights recently have been installed, the foundation of the concession stand and a locker room are visible on the left, the pavilion with its blue roof is in the (right) foreground (providing shade for the work crew as the summer months draw near), and the structure in the distance is the Blue Jay baseball batting cage.

Meanwhile, on the fundraising side, the Home Field Advantage Capital Campaign has fresh online donation and web pages where Blue Jays of all stripes — alumni, parents, and parents of alumni — have several options to contribute to this great project.
